Bohemian Monsoon Wine Carnival:
Venue : Chancery Pavilion
Date : Saturday, 30th Aug, 2008
Time : 12.00 pm
We had a chance to taste a choice selection of South African wines from Kingfisher Bohemia.
A taste nurtured in Cape Floral Kingdom, South Africa, one of the world’s oldest, most eco-friendly wine growing regions, Kingfisher Bohemia is enriched by a 500-million year old soil and the unique climate typical of that area. Discover the fun side of wine! No rules, no rituals, no specific occasions!
CHENIN BLANC CHARDONNAY
This masterfully blended white wine has lovely pineapple and ripe melon flavours on the nose, which follows through to a limy, full middle-palate and finishes in crisp freshness.
An uncomplicated, easy drinking Pinotage, filled with ripe berry fruit, ending with a soft sweet finish.
Chef Sitapathi and his team at Chancery Pavilion put together a superlative exotic monsoon lunch menu to go with these wines and the mood.
